I discovered today that you can apply css2 attribute selectors to highlight tags with tal namespace attributes. Never got it working before but the trick is to escape the colon delimiter eg... *[metal\:fill-slot], *[metal\:define-slot], *[metal\:define-macro] { border : 1px dotted green; } *[tal\:condition], *[tal\:repeat], *[tal\:content], *[tal\:replace] { border : 1px dotted red; } ...works in Mozilla 1.3. Useful (in theory) for designers to identify where tal stuff has been added to their templates. in css3 namespace attributes will be properly handled with an @namespace line... http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-namespace/#q1 -RichardW.Interesting use of tags - I didnt consider using namespaces for the attributesThat's a minimum while playing with XML/XHTML, if you don't put your attributes in a specific namespace, any simple validator will complain about unknown attribute... And it so readable !
