Well, Urs (urs@circle.ch) and me have been working on the win32
specific part of the go-pear script. Please download it from the link
below and test it.
It's working perfectly here...
You'll find the file at www.gordimer.net/go-pear.php.txt. Please
download it and run it from your php binaries directory (like if you'd
use go-pear.bat).
Things fixed:
- look for php.ini first in the directory where go-pear.php is located
(usually php binary directory)
- during the installation, display explicit paths and not php variable
names
- make necessary changes in pear.bat
- move pear.in into php installation directory and call it pear.in as
it can't be called pear there
- some other small changes
Still open:
- temporary files are not deleted after installation
- installation not working on other drives than the one where the
temporary directory is (see bug 21619 and related).
