I think it's the fault of Net_URL's constructor. It gets data from _SERVER to use for all url's. This is IMO absolutely wrong. Anyone else have opinions on that? In the meantime, I'm going to drop trying to use any of the HTTP_Request related stuff. Shane Rolf Martin-Hoster wrote:

pecl/soap or pear:soap? I don't quite see how that can happen. The pear:soap http transport specificly sets the port to 80 unless you otherwise define a port in the url you use. Shane
