I'm not going to bother attempting wsdl generation from source code until php 5. In the meantime, I have a donated class that I will add to pear::soap that can be used for wsdl generation. That should be in cvs by the end of the weekend.

While we're making feature requests... :) What about a tool that takes a PHP class and generates a WSDL file? It would be cool if I could create a SOAP server, register some methods, and then get it to spit out a WSDL file for that server. I know it may be hard to do, for example, since PHP doesn't make you specify variable types, etc, but something that at least generates a starting point could save time and simplify matters. -adam On Thu, 3 Apr 2003, Shane Caraveo wrote:It's there. soap/tools/genproxy.php (or something like that). It needs more work, particularly in the xml schema area, but otherwise I use it quite often. That way we skip quite a signigicant overhead of parsing WSDL files on each request. Edin
