Why don't you extend Net_IMAP ? Both clases do the same thing But Net_IMAP has an extensible protocol parser and it is full RCF2060 compliant (please see IMAPProtocol.php) Other features are: * You already have PLAIN, LOGIN, CRAM-MD5 and DIGEST-MD5 authentication (the class automaticaly selects the best auth method supported by the server ) I'm developing a NTLM Auth method to allow Net_IMAP and Net_SMTP to authenticate against an Exchange Server too * The Quota and ACL methods are implemented as RFC2087 and RFC2086 said (for example, you can set a quota based on number of messages or max mailbox size ) (please take a look at IMAPProtocol.php class ) * The class query the IMAP server capabilities to allow quota and ACL manipulation On Tue, 2003-04-22 at 18:34, Jan Schneider wrote: > Hi, > > I want to propose a package that Richard Heyes already announced a few month > ago.
