Using the standard php4-pear package... should I try the one from
go-pear.org?

It works ok here with 4.3.1 on Debian, are you using the standard pear
command from the package, or have you installed the version from
go-pear.org?

I expected it to install like other modules did...
Actually running PHP 4.2.3 debian package, and not allowed to install
otherwise (company policy *grumble*)... would this be an issue?
