PEAR Meeting IRC, video etc

Hi, A couple of things concerning the PEAR meeting this friday in Amsterdam: - Which IRC server do people wish to use? I'm not familiar with IRC myself, but I've been told we can put all partipants on a unique IP outside the firewall, so technically any IRC server should be possible. I don't think it would be a wise idea to let everybody in the room participate in the IRC session. I would like to project the chat window on a wall in the room so that people who couldn't make it to Amsterdan can still ask questions to the people in the room. Ofcourse this should be in moderation to keep things from slowing down to much. - I would like to use Windows Media to provide a live stream of the meeting. There are clients for almost any common platform and it just happens to be what we use here at TERENA. We can probably provide and high and low bandwidth stream simultaniously. - Stig, will you be able to join us via videoconference and if so can we do a test either today or tomorrow? Other questions, comments anyone? Jeroen
