Typically the pear channel is on EFNET. but some people cannot access it due
to firewall restrictions.
Therefore the choice is FREENODE, irc.freenode.org which apparetnly works
with everybody.

that's nice. What are the high/low in kilobytes or kilobits ? Is is possible
that you provide a simple stream for a couple of hours before the meeting so
that a few of us can test on their conf ?
I would test it under linux/mplayer. Somebody could do it under win and last
OS X. That could help.

Is lukas going to be the meeting leader ? Somebody has to be in charge to
keep the discussion sidetracking.
