Issues with Math_BaseX, developer doesn't respond

Hi! Some time ago (at least a month), i mailed the maintainer of Math_BaseX (zyprexia@php.net) about making some changes in Math_BaseX. Until today, i haven't recieved an answer. It is somehow limited now (doesn't use bcmath, gmp or alike), it has errors ($this->length instead of $this->_length, declaring a package with errors like this stable doesn't reflect good on pear), it doesn't follow the coding standards everywhere.
