Indeed, it might be better suited for maybe mapping Cache to the SRM classes.
In other words, a container allowing existing users of Cache to make use of
the SRM without code changes (accessing the SRM through Cache objects). The
same might be considered for HTTP_Session...
The SRM in of itself is an application-wide caching mechanism so an additional
PEAR package is perhaps superfluous.
