I am receiving a lot of errors from pear on windows with invalid checksum errors, the output from pear info PEAR is Invalid checksum : 27381 calculated, 0 expected other packages seem to work ok, but this error crops up on a few different packages when installing or upgrading. for example pear upgrade-all downloading Archive_Tar-1.1.tgz ... ...done: 14,232 bytes upgrade-all ok: Archive_Tar 1.1 Invalid checksum : 27381 calculated, 0 expected I have now repeated "pear upgrade-all" and now get this error RELEASE WARNINGS ================ +---+ | w | +---+ w Invalid checksum for file "#!/home/ek/projects/root/pear/bin/php -Cq <?php // -*- PHP -*- // // +---------------------------" : 27381 calculated, 0 expected pear package-validate also seems broken C:\>pear package-validate HTML_Crypt could not open file "HTML_Crypt" C:\>pear package-validate PEAR Invalid checksum for file "#!/home/ek/projects/root/pear/bin/php -Cq <?php // -*- PHP -*- // // +---------------------------" : 27381 calculated, 0 expected Regards Mike At 12:30 29/05/2003 +0100, Davey wrote:

                * PEAR_Error now supports exceptions when using
                Zend Engine 2.  Set the
                  error mode to PEAR_ERROR_EXCEPTION to make
                PEAR_Error throw itself
                  as an exception (invoke PEAR errors with
                raiseError() or throwError()
                  just like before).

                PEAR INSTALLER:

                * Packaging and validation now parses PHP source
                code (unless
                  ext/tokenizer is disabled) and does some
                coding standard conformance
                  checks.  Specifically, the names of classes

                  checked to ensure that they are prefixed with
                the package name.  If
                  your package has symbols that should be
                without this prefix, you can
                  override this warning by explicitly adding a
