Hi Martin, Apologies for long wait. As mentioned by email getting here during the day is a problem. There is documentation in the package already. The code has phpdoc style comments plus the readme is fairly extensive and I've provided four examples of how to use it which are in the package and available online here; http://code.phppatterns.com/XML_SaxFilters/docs/examples/simple.phps http://code.phppatterns.com/XML_SaxFilters/docs/examples/rssfilter.phps http://code.phppatterns.com/XML_SaxFilters/docs/examples/xml2html.phps http://code.phppatterns.com/XML_SaxFilters/docs/examples/template.phps Having said that I don't know if I messed up the package.xml in some way or whether it's because the code status is "beta" but on installing it with PEAR, the source is installed correctly but the docs directory seems to vanish into thin air. If you look at the package file itself available at; http://www.phppatterns.com/index.php/filemanager/fileview/29/ The readme and examples are all there under docs. Having said that think SaxFilters in general is often a confusing subject. Right now I'd say the examples would help someone with intermediate PHP skills work out how to use XML_SaxFilters but I need to do more to make it more accessible. When I get to a stable release, will publish some sort of "paper" with it and on phppatterns.com that will try to make it accessible to all. Is this what you meant or is there some other documentation you'd like to see? On Mon, 23 Jun 2003 07:33:53 +0200, Martin Jansen <mj@php.net> wrote:

The stuff looks fine for me, but I'm -1 on this as long as their is no proper documentation: Nobody will use such complex systems without having a detailed explanation (including examples etc.). As soon as there as is documentation, I'm all for it.
