I think you should divide this in several parts:
- one main package that deals with the "internal standard" (which will be?)
- other more specific packages that deal with transformation from another
"language" to this standard and/or the other way
Then, we will be able for example to tranform from DocBookXML to XHTML, from
Wiki to DocBookXML, from DocBookXML to Wiki, from XHTML to DocBookXML, from
DocBookXML to PDF, etc.
I don't use Wiki, but I use a lot SPIP, a wonderful CMS that has its own (nice)
markup language: http://www.spip.net/article.php3?id_article=88
Having a package in PEAR that can tranform SPIP's language into anything else
would be great! I would be happy to contribute on this part when the main
package will be available.
