What's the general felling to return column names in the same case for
all drivers? I remember a time, when I needed to port a postgres app to
oracle with phplib, and having this was very helpful.
Any way, I don't use Pear DB only because of the database abstraction (a
thing really importat for me), I love it because the nice OO interface,
safe data quoting, comfortable sequences, robust and automatic error
handling, the marvellouse $db->get*() methods, etc.
