Re: possible bugs in PEAR installer

I've noticed that directories are not removed as well, but haven't looked into it, as it isn't as critical as the other things I've been looking at like spaces in pathnames. The dependencies thing is quite serious, and I would post it if there isn't one up already. Greg Laurent Laville wrote:

I've removed packages HTML_CSS and File_Passwd pear uninstall HTML_CSS pear uninstall File_Passwd i check with pear list all pkg are gone ! Then i've tried pear install HTML_SetupWizard-1.0RC1.tgz and got install ok: HTML_SetupWizard 1.0RC1 So where dependencies check gone !!!! because HTML_CSS and File_Passwd are no more on my system and should be stop install progress, isn't it ? I'm running under PEAR 1.1, PHP 4.3.2 and Windows XP is it a bug, should i submit a new bug entry ?! What your opinions ? Laurent
