Well I think the general question was whether we need a pecl-
extension. I believe a pear (php)-solution would be better if
possible to implement since it would be independent of other libs
like libvorbis etc. Okay, they already exist for multiple plattforms
but ... hmm ...
What do the others think? Should David write his own package in PHP
(I'm in favour of that at the moment) or should a pecl-package be
used.
