In the current version, this is correct. The functionality you describe can
only be accomplished if new processes are spawned... Maybe we could
implement some kind of Net_Server factory, where you are able to create
servers were one process serves all users (this is perfect for IM stuff and
such) and one where the processes run independently. I'm not sure if I will
be able to work on both, but maybe someone in the list has experience with
forking processes.
BTW, the package already has been released, the proposal is from mid July
AFAIK.
