I've just installed a Zend Studio Server 3.0.0 on a Red Hat 7.3 server (Apache 1.3.23, PHP 4.1.2, PEAR). Since this installation, the pear command desesperatly returns "Segmentation fault". There is no way to upgrade package, nor to install new ones. Trying to reinstall PEAR failed with the same message. Does anyone know about a software incompatibility between Zend and Pear ? Well I had some problems with my pages after installing ZDS3. I removed a line from my php.ini (which was modified by the installer) that included the Zend Optimizer module. Now everything works fine again. The Zend Optimizer is known the cause conflicts with some other modules such as caching and debugging modules.HTH jeroen
