FYI, I'm near done with an interface checker for the upload process. It checks if a release with the same major version number does not introduce BC with the previous release, but only with the interfaces. The logic BC check should be done using unit tests. For now it will check only the functions/class/class::methods. Parameters checking requires to add the parameters to the provides tags, including the optionnal parameter. pierre
