While I'm trying to give you guys free code, I also have Net_Socket_Curl which provides rough emulation of Net_Socket using curl. The story is an admin I know couldn't get openssl to play nice with PHP's socket so I quickly wrote Net_Socket_Curl as a replacement for Net_Socket to use with HTTP_Request so that we could make SSL requests to a server. If you are interested the code is here: http://www.iordy.com/code/Curl.phps Cheers, Shane.
