for those interested, i have set up a CVS where you can check out the files and help developing until the stuff moves into PEAR one day. Please mail patches to me, i will stuff them in the cvs. More info here: http://opensource.visionp.biz/CVS_access.146.0.html and here http://cvs.visionp.biz just a note, the Mail_Message class works, except for the use of attachments. This might be a thing to go for. Cipriano, interested? Cipriano Groenendal wrote:
What i realized now is that the attachment stuff gets really tricky at some point. I.e. I have a class, called Mail_Message_HTML, which represents an HTML-message and shall make it easier for a developer to compose/works with HTML-mails. Now when i want to convert raw mails into the internal format i found out that this becomes pretty hairy.
And it gets worse. I've written my own webmail--mailparser once for work.... The biggest irritating challenge is that there's not a real set structure for mime-attachments. And don't forget the message/rfc822 attachments, which are entire emails in itself... Ofcourse this'd prolly get a whole lot easier with OO programming instead of normal coding.
1) I would really be very happy if there is someone who is interested in supporting me with this, esp. for the attachment stuff.
I'd be more'n happy to help out with'm. I've done quite some coding on stuff like that in the past, but my OO-coding-knowledge is limited yet growing :) Cipriano
