Hi folks!
I've enconterd what seems to be a bug in the package HTML_QuickForm (ver
3.1.1). When adding a advcheckbox to a form, the form posts not only the
element with name originally specified but also the name-value pair of the
actual checkbox with an internally generated name according to "__[original
name]".
The documentation for class HTML_QuickForm_advcheckbox in file
advcheckbox.php states this should not be the case; only the element with
the origin name should be posted. (See line 24-41 in advcheckbox.php).
My idea is that the method HTML_QuickForm_advcheckbox::toHtml() should be
edited.
Line 193-196 in advcheckbox.php...
193> $this->updateAttributes(array(
194> 'name' => $this->getPrivateName($oldName),
195> 'onclick' => $this->getOnclickJs($oldName) . ' ' . $oldJs
196> ));
...should be replaced with:
193> $this->updateAttributes(array(
194> 'name' => null,
195> 'onclick' => $this->getOnclickJs($oldName) . ' ' . $oldJs
196> ));
I've very recently started to explore this package (and PEAR in general) so
I can be wrong. Please tell me if that's the case. If not this might be a
bug to report.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
Markus
