pear packages and error levels

Hi all, In a project I am working on I have set error reporting such that E_NOTICES are also reported. This has resulted in the fact that I find a lot of lines in my noticelog such as: * NOTICE: Undefined index: __HTTP_Session_Localname<br />file: /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Session.php<br />line: 545 * NOTICE: Undefined index: debug<br />file: /usr/local/lib/php/DB/DataObject.php<br />line: 213 I could make this list a lot longer :-) Anyway I think that it is probably best if package developers set their error reporting level to report notices as well. In the near future I will start offering patches to lead developers of the packages that I use that are throwying these notices. Cheers, Hans
