Why just? It is absolutely normal that IE doesn't change the HTML code, only
give to the clipboard. Then an editor need this data.
Asks the clipboard what type of data it has. The clipborad say that it has
html data, then the editor can get it as HTML, and the editor should change
the HTML to plain text (and should change <br> to 'n) or the editor can get
the data as plain text. This case the clipboard should convert the HTML to
plain text.

Very funny. But these standards never say that in a (X)HTML document can not
contain \n.
I can not understand your attitude. There is an existing problem, which
could be solve very easy, and which affect a lot of user. I think the
documentation should server as many people as possible.
