I'm thinking about modifying my copy of the XML_RPC module for a project, but wanted to see if anyone had any advice first. I'm going to separate the sending and receiving functions. Therefore, if you're contacting three different hosts, they can be working in parallel. [snip]
This way, all three hosts can be working at the same time, instead of blocking on the first host. This sounds cool. When you make any changes, try to keep backwards compatibility so that we can consider including this into PEAR.
Any suggestions... hints... objections? Obviously it won't be "official" PEAR code.If you come up with something that improves the functionality of the class, submit a patch (as a bug report, so it doesn't get lost) and maybe it can become "official." You don't need to worry about PEAR coding standards, or patching against the latest CVS; I can take care of those details. :) -- Marshall Roch http://pear.php.net/user/mroch
