I just kinda "negotiated" with Andi Gutmans that #24687 will not be
fixed for PHP 5 and that we are going to try to provide a patch for all
the PEAR stuff that comes with PHP 5 instead.
So if you want to have a look at php-src/pear/PEAR/* as well, that would
be great :).
