Hi,
I don't understand why no one has replied to this request, but I'll tell you there appear to be a number of weird bugs with the installer - if pear download xxxxx works, that seems to imply the problem may be in the install command. However, to be sure, you should mail Martin at pear-webmaster, as he knows pearweb better than most.

hey, did you guys disable listing of pecl packages via pear.php.net? both "pear install sqlite" and "pear install mailparse" give "No releases found for package 'xxxx'" errors. pear download xxxxx pear install xxxx.tar.gz is the current workaround. We need a way to either: - show pecl packages to the pear tool - have the pear tool try pear.php.net then pecl.php.net The former solution is the best as the current situation breaks existing php/pear installs. --Wez.
