Windows NT/2000/XP uses a gues account to run all web requests under IIS. This account does not have access to manage the printers, but it should be possible to print if the user has access to the printer. One way of 'correcting' this is to make sure the script that calls printer_list is executed by a user with enough rights. This can be done by disabling the anonymous aceces to the file. We have successfully used this function on a Win98/PWS configuration, but fails on Win/XP with IIS. I noted the advice in bug 14301 to install 4.3 but still no go.
