Thanks to all who reviewed and commented; I've registered the package name with PEAR and will upload 0.2 after that.

I'd suggest that you fixed the E_ALL issue first, otherwise some people might complain after they tested the package.

Already done; it's in the 0.3 package now. Am trying to upload it to the PEAR site, but there appears to be some permission issue (or I'm missing something obvious).

I haven't had a look at the code, since I found no .phps and I am on the road, unable to test too much, but did you put an error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE) on top of the PHP files? That's of course my personal opinion, maybe no-one complains, but on this list, you never know ;-)

No, no, you're right -- I want all my code, especially shared code, to run clean under E_ALL. I failed to put error_reporting() at the top of my testing scripts, but have done so and have caught most if not all of the E_ALL issues. -- Paul M.
