Hi Folks:
The DB package has tons of open bugs. Many of them are easy to fix. Some
even have patch files already associated with them. A couple are
duplicates.
I have posted a whole bunch of patches over the past month. None have
been applied. I've even contacted Tomas directly, but haven't received
any reply. I'm not faulting Tomas, or anyone. I know how busy we can
get. At the same time, things need to get fixed.
I would like to become a maintainer for the DB package. My computer has
MySQL, PostgreSQL, InterBase, Sybase, MS SQL Server and Oracle on it at
the moment. SQLite is coming soon.
Here's a list of several bugs I've either opened or posted comments about.
The comments contain patches and/or notes about the reports being
duplicates.

This request comes in part because it's geting harder and harder to keep
things straight because I'm now running a verison of DB that has patches
on top of patches on top of patches. Then trying to fix new bugs makes
things very awkward.
Thanks for your consideration,
