I just wonder if the PEAR mailinglist is the right place to discuss bug problems or details about the ZZ/OSS Installer. The project has a mailinglist over at SF http://www.sf.net/projects/zzossinstaller, which might be a better place. There's also a bug tracker.
Ok, i'll keep that in mind.
The ZZ/OSS installer will currently not work with "error_reporting = E_ALL" in php.ini. This is on our todo list and will be taken care in the next release (just like Windows compatibility).
I'll turn it off to play with it then, thnaks for the info.
