Hmm - seems I should also have a look. But since most PEAR packages rely on DB instead of MDB: Can I use an existing DB-connection to e.g. mysql or whatever and use it with the MDB-features? Or does MDB need a separate connection for that?
If you want to reuse the connection for native queries you can access the connection property of the MDB instance as well.
