#1 is needed for the packages using get_class, right? Those should
soon take care of the problem - agreed.
And #2 is also true from my view. How far has the beta of 1.3
stabilised up to now - is a 1.3 final to be expected soon? And has
the pear-group agreed upon any attitude towords channels etc.?
(I surely believe Greg already has the patches waiting in his pockets
already *g*)
