Protocol for deleting a package from PEAR?

I'm the maintainer of the Net_Dig class which, frankly, was a bit of a
hack to begin with.
I no longer want to support it, and would actually like to remove it
from PEAR. Much better functionality can be found in the Net_DNS class,
for example.
Do I simply log into the PEAR website, and click the "package delete"
link?
