Hi PEARs!
I know, this issue came up quite often, but I like to discuss some ideas on
that again.
I definitly like to revitalize the PEAR weekly news. They were a cool option
for PEAR users to keep in touch with PEAR and the ddevelopers, without
reading 10 mailinglists and staying in IRC the whole day.
My idea is to create a kind of PEAR weblog (maybe use S9Y?) on the PEAR
website, where authorized developers can publish news. Basically this would
reflect PEAR (weekly) news, using a common, easy publishing system and
providing XML feeds.
What do you think about this?
Regards,
Toby
P.S.: Beef on blog fashion and stuff directly to /dev/null please, since
this blog is more like a news system than a private diary.
