Hi Klaus,
thanks for your mail. I didn't see any official statement from the
PEAR-group, and in the official document you quoted ([3]) there's no
such rule, so I started from 0.0.1 for the new Translation2.
However, looking at [4] you seem to be right.
Can the pear-group update the document [3] and include such rules?
Maybe with a schema with allowed package numeration
and a strict naming format to follow (i.e. 1.0.0-alphaX is valid,
1.0.0alphaX is not...)
On a side note, is it fine with everyone if I leave
the release already uploaded as-is and I move to
2.0.0-alpha2 on next release, or should I repackage
it right now and delete 0.0.1 alpha?
