That's what I thought about too :)
So the PEAR::DB API will become an C-extension, which should hopefully
replace DBX?
This would be very nice. But why not MDB2? That would be the best solution I
think. And it would be a nice feature to PHP, many people alleways say that
PHP has no real abstraction layer, I think an C-Extension with the
functionality of MDB2 would be a really great feature!
