Good idea, I think I will replicate the concept behind the renderer for the
record management.
I wanted to expand the record class into a Collections manager, I think this
might be the best way to do so.

Defiantly a PEAR::DB_result object, but isn't an MDB result just an array?
I don't have any experience with MDB, so I don't know to much about it.
Could you or anyone else imagine any other types of datasets?
