Hey,
I just wanted to know if some code I came up with
would be of any use... maybe in PEAR_PackageFileManager
to automatically detect version and extension dependencies?
Or in the "pear package" command, it analyzes the files anyways,
could do these additional checks too.

The code is not available yet cause its *real* rough, and not a class yet ;)
You can feed it external PHP code through HTTP (so long as the actual code is served) to test it some more :)
The only limitation on this is a) Some PHP5 functions are not yet marked as such and b) It'll only detect for version <= to the version its being
run on, however, if you're developing code that doesn't run on the current version you're using... you need to re-think your dev system ;)
Anyway, comments etc are encouraged
