I had an odd value to insert into an sqlite db via PEAR DB. It was a NUL character (ascii 0). The
current escaping resulted in an error from the DB.
Here is a patch to add the escapesimple() function to the SQLite DB backend. This uses the
sqlite_escape_string() function (similar to the mysql API). It seems to be the right way to do
things since sqlite has this function.
