To be honest, that isn't the right kind of question. PEAR classes shouldn't be for the benefit of just those subscribed to PEAR-DEV. PEAR is for anyone that uses PHP. So, if you think it could benefit Joe User when he needs to utilise the functionality of the package, then I believe it should be proposed. I doubt I'll ever use it, but I'd never bet against someone else needing it one day. Cheers, Dave
