Since you posted to pear-dev I guess you didn't think of a pear-group-
meeting, did you? :-)) Well, I personally would also favor a meeting
before / after the conf. If we know early enough I'm sure that most
people will have time to join in the day/evening before or so. And
people living close wouldn't necessarily need to attend the conf as
well.
For all who are at the conf, let me highlight that there will be a
PEAR booth this year as well, so you are all welcome to come and say
hello :-))
Do we plan a working-meeting (discussion of details, technical
things, ...) or a more informal meeting? For the latter maybe we
could arrange enough room at a local restaurant / pub.
If you're thinking of a technical meeting, which would make sense in
my eyes at the current stage of pear, we could maybe take Björn's
offer for a room or anything similar - I'm open in that respect.
Toby, thanks for bringing this up. Hope the thread will last a bit
longer than most others did on the mailinglist :-)
