If Gillaume can provide patches, we can work out a concrete plan.
Having a second interface that is more easy to use than the current
one sounds like a good plan for me.

I have been working a bit on XML_RPC lately and I volunteer to
coordinate Gillaume's contributions, if nobody else has time to take
care of it.

I once started to add documentation by importing Edd Dumbill's
original documentation into the manual. The current status quo can be
found at http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.webservices.php.
