Hi,
I try PEAR HTML_QuickForm class yesterday & I think it work great for all my purpose BUT
I can't figure out how SIMPLY trim() all submit values without overriding éverithing :-((
for sure, I tried to catch at top with this:
reset ($HTTP_POST_VARS);
while (list ($key, $val) = each ( $HTTP_POST_VARS )) {
$$key = munge_space($val);
I think then I can't modified special values like $HTTP_*_VARS for security reason but if I can do a stripslashes on it why can't I remove simply space...
I also try to trim all inside class with custom method but nothing works *snif* !
also, when I try to addRule on FORM element a second time I got a pear error,.
I'd comment the first lines to avoid this without undersatnding why exactly
line 507 to line 511 inside QuickForm.php
function addRule($element, $message="", $type="", $format="", $validation="server")
{
# if (!$this->elementExists($element)) {
# return new PEAR_ERROR("Element does not exist in HTML_QuickForm::addRule");
# }
...
Maybe I'm stupid, tired or both but, for now I can't find if somebody can help me
thanks you
Sioui
