versioning announcement

Hi, Since there was a lot of confusion about the Version Naming announcement I said a while ago on this list in a semi official manner that the guideline is on hold for now. In the same semi official manner I want to say that this no longer holds true and that the guideline is therefore as binding as a PEAR Group announcement can be :-) Here is the announcement in question for your convinience: http://pear.php.net/group/docs/20040226-vn.php As always there is the RFC system if you want to propose changes or improvements :-) regards, Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07
