A good point. However:
Net_Socket extends PEAR. Thus if it were to remove the constant PEAR.php
dependancy, it'd have to stop extending pear, which is a BC break which
means it'd have to be re-released as Net_Socket2, which means it'd have to
be repackaged anyway, and in the process he might aswell fix the PEAR
include ;)
But since we're talking about if's on if's on when's, let's just drop this
silly thread ;)
