Mirco Bauer (http://pear.php.net/user/meebey) has commented on the proposal for RFC::VersionNaming. Comment: I fully agree on this RFC except that stable must be >= 1.0 Net_SmartIRC is at 0.5.5p1 and is stable (the project started in 2002), it will not reach 1.0 till its feature complete, though its a stable library (no BC breakages, working API, runs smooth, long time (as daemon ~1 month then the IRC server usually disconnects :-P, runs fine under stress etc) Proposal information: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=65 -- Sent by PEPr, the automatic proposal system at http://pear.php.net
