Sorry, Bertrand, but this is BS. I recently reinstalled Linux due to HD problems and only had to do # apt-get install some_DocBook_stuff and then everything Just Worked. It's hard to believe that my distribution vendor keeps an "old custom incompatible" version in their repository. ;]
