Is there any documentation or how-to's regarding the PEAR Installer, and the
package.xml format? I have continuously heard references to it in recent
discussions, but cannot find more info. It's even mentioned in the first
sentence of the first question in the PEAR FAQ, as part of the answer to
"What is PEAR exactly?", but no more docs anywhere else on pear.php.net.
If there is no web-accessible info, is anyone involved in development
interested in giving a quick synopsis of usage and links?
thx,
d.
