The main issue here is keeping a consistent name space. Today we have
one package repository, if we start adding more data sources (I guess
you mean like Debian's APT?), we will have to deal with name space
conflicts. What if the "HTML_Table" package contains completely
different code on two different servers?
I'm open to something like this in the future, but now we'll go with one
source to reduce the system's complexity. Then when we have some
experience, we may start thinking in this direction.
